What Information We Collect
Information you give us
Newsletter subscriptions. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any other purpose. Our newsletter is delivered through Beehiiv (beehiiv.com), a third-party email platform. By subscribing, your email address is stored in Beehiiv’s systems, subject to their privacy policy.
Contact form or email. If you reach out to us via email or contact form, we collect whatever information you include in your message (typically your name, email, and the content of your message). We use this only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, which pages are read, how long people stay, where traffic comes from. GA4 collects:
- IP address (anonymized by default)
- Browser type and version
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL (where you came from)
This data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not link it to your email or any other personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies. We use cookies. Small text files stored in your browser. These fall into a few categories:
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to track site usage (as described above)
- Affiliate tracking cookies. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (such as Amazon) may set a cookie to track that a purchase resulted from our referral. This is standard affiliate tracking and is how we earn commissions.
- Functional cookies used to remember basic preferences (such as cookie consent status)
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
Affiliate link tracking. When you click a product link on our site that leads to a retailer, that click may be tracked to attribute any resulting purchase to Nest N Thrive. Tracking is handled by the retailer (for example, Amazon’s affiliate system). We see aggregate data about clicks and conversions, not personal information about individual visitors.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send you the newsletter you signed up for

European and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Our lawful basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (analytics, site improvement) and consent (newsletter subscriptions). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@nestnthrive.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain newsletter subscriber data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our active list. We retain contact-form messages for a reasonable period to address your inquiry, then delete them.
Anonymized analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us at admin@nestnthrive.com and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Significant changes will be noted in the newsletter where applicable.
